FAKE IT TILL YOU GET USED TO IT

The first time I was invited to speak to single ladies at a seminar, I said, “Yes!”—not because I was ready, but because it was too good a chance to pass up as someone that has always dreamt of been a motivational speaker and impacting on people especially ladies. (Success, no matter how long you’ve waited for it, always comes before you’re ready for it.) Then I freaked out. “I can’t do it. I’ll open my mouth and nothing will come out. I’m not too good, and so on. But by this time I knew a thing or two. So I made a resolution—the very rare kind that really is written in blood: “I will not, repeat, will not sabotage myself, no matter much I may want to.” I got everything ready—the clothes I would wear, my plans for what I was going to say. Then I was hysterical for two days before the show. On the big day, I pulled myself together, walked in, carried it off almost as smoothly as an old pro, thanked everyone (they were very impressed), went home and got hysterical again. Nobod

STICK TO YOUR COMMITMENT

Do You Stick to Your Commitments? You probably read that title and thought of your most recent vow of commitment – a course, or your business, or your marketing, or that thing you’ve been putting off. And you probably thought, “Hell yeah! I’m definitely committed!” I’m sorry to say that you’re probably not. Think of all those New Years’ promises people make every year – to go on a diet, to quit smoking, to spend more time with their kids, to focus on this or that. They break those promises. They forget about their commitments. They pretend they never uttered the fateful words. Most people go back to the way things were in just a few weeks. Life’s just easier that way. You see, commitment is easy. It’s just you making a vow. A promise. A statement of potential action. “I’m going to do this!” There. You’ve made a commitment. Pat yourself on the back. Sticking to your commitment takes dedication and effort. Hard,  hard  work. And the dedication to stick to putting in

"GOAL SETTING"

“Set a Very Specific Goal” What is it that you want to achieve you need to be very clear on what the journey will look like. The goal needs to be specific and have a certain time attached. As a  life Inspirator , I work with a lot of people on their goals. Setting goals puts you in the driver’s seat, giving you the power to transform your life or take a company into the future. As enticing as that sounds, it is more common than not those goals are abandoned. To be successful, check your goals against my ten steps to help ensure you accomplish them. 1. Belief.  The first step to goal setting is to have absolute belief and faith in the process. If you don’t believe you can absolutely transform your life and get what you want, then you might as well forget about goal setting and do something else. If you are in doubt, look around you. Everything you can see began as a thought. Make your thoughts turn into reality. 2. Visualize  what you want. Think of what you deeply desire i

“Achieve External Success”

1.       Be educated.  Education gives you the knowledge, skills, and credibility to achieve your maximum potential. In terms of financial success, statistics have shown that the more education you have (i.e. the higher degree you achieve), the more money you are likely to make ·          In 2011, the median weekly earnings for high school graduates was $638 while those with bachelor's degrees made $1053. That same year, those with masters or doctoral degrees made $1263 and $1551 respectively. ·          Not all education has to be formal. Apprenticeships and long-term training programs are also positively correlated with higher incomes. Obtaining a Certificate in your field can help to increase your salary. ·          Educate yourself for pleasure as well. The more you know about the world you live in, the more questions you will have and the more interested you will be. 2.      Manage your finances.  Learning how to manage your money will help ensure your financial

DISCIPLINE !

Build your self-discipline. This will come easily if you have the relentless passion but it will mean that you can’t keep hitting the snooze button at 4.30am. It may be hard to believe when you’re facing a hot-fudge sundae or the prospect of sleeping in versus hitting the gym, but studies show that people with self-discipline are happier. People with a higher degree of  self-control   spend less time debating whether or not to indulge in behaviours that are detrimental to their health and are able to make positive decisions more easily. They don’t let impulses or feelings dictate their choices. Instead, they make level-headed decisions. As a result, they tend to feel more satisfied with their lives. There are things you can do to learn self-discipline and gain the willpower to live a happier life. If you are looking to take control of your habits and choices, here are the four(4) most powerful things you can do to master self-discipline. 1. Know your weaknesses. We all

IDENTIFY YOUR PASSION!

What do you want your legacy to be?  Passion is a feeling of intense enthusiasm towards or compelling desire for someone or something. Passion can range from eager interest in or admiration for an idea, proposal, or cause; to enthusiastic enjoyment of interest or activity; to strong attraction, excitement, or emotion towards a person. (The “thing” you’re passionate about). Passion compels you to take risks and push yourself past your current limits. It could be a hobby, injustice, art, sports, public speaking. Anything you feel strongly about. (Including things you can’t stand. Intense dislike of something is also a kind of passionate emotion and can drive you to create something new.). It doesn’t matter. If it pulls you and fills your thoughts, or makes you come alive, then it’s passion. Passion will inspire and encourage you even when you come up against challenges. What I’ve found in life, is that it’s our passion that directs us in the best possible course for o
